Less inefficiency, more experiences.

I’m Caden Rhoton, and I’m running for Vineyard City Council.

I’m excited to have you here as we work toward building a stronger, more vibrant Vineyard—together.

As a longtime resident, Planning Commissioner, and dedicated community advocate, I care deeply about the future of our city. I’m running to bring steady leadership, fresh ideas, and a vision rooted in smart growth, fiscal responsibility, and community values.

Vineyard is growing fast—and we have an incredible opportunity to shape that growth with intention, transparency, and heart. Let’s create a city that thrives on innovation while honoring the history and spirit that brought us here.

Thanks for being part of this journey. I’d be honored to earn your support.

  • I wholeheartedly recommend Caden for Vineyard’s City Council. As a lifelong friend, I have developed immense respect for him as a devoted father and diligent working professional. His unwavering dedication to giving 100% to both his family and career is truly inspiring. What sets Caden apart is his genuine passion to serve and be actively involved in his community. I believe his strong values, creativity, and commitment to bettering the community make him the ideal candidate to lead Vineyard towards a brighter future.

  • I have spent most of my life living in Utah County. I grew up boating on Utah Lake, hiking the nearby mountains, and even attending BYU. Even now I raise my kids here and cannot imagine taking them anywhere else. Like many residents, we know the greatness of the area, and its catching on. With so many people moving here we wonder how we can manage sustainable growth and keep those things that make the valley unique. Having known Caden my whole life I can assure you that he knows what makes this place special. With a shared set of principles, I can confidently say he will serve Vineyard well and work his hardest to bring about responsible growth that is a reflection of what we value. I endorse Caden for city council and encourage you to come out and vote for him.

  • Caden has an irresistible excitement for Vineyard. Anyone who has talked to him about the city knows that he is proud to call Vineyard home and is ready to work to solve problems together. I have seen him spend countless hours working on the planning commission and improving transportation plans for the city. Caden’s strong commitment to transparent governance and inclusive decision-making make him an ideal candidate right now. Having worked closely with Caden, I can attest to his passion for improving our community and ensuring a productive and enjoyable place to live. I’m confident that electing him to City Council will result in significant improvements.

Two years ago, I came close to winning a council seat, finishing just shy of the mark. But instead of stepping back, I leaned in. Over the past two years, I’ve served on Vineyard’s Planning Commission, helping shape key decisions regarding land use, growth, and infrastructure—issues that will define our city’s future for decades to come.

My family and I moved to Vineyard five years ago, and it’s been one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. We love the vibrant energy, the parks and trails, and the tight-knit neighborhoods where our kids are growing up surrounded by friends. But what we love most is the spirit of this community: forward-looking, inclusive, and full of possibility.

In May, I graduated with an MBA from Boston University, where I strengthened my skills in leadership, finance, and collaboration, tools I’m ready to bring to the Council. I believe in smart growth, fiscal responsibility, and making decisions that reflect the values and priorities of Vineyard residents.

With a proven record of service and a commitment to thoughtful, community-first leadership, I’m running to help keep Vineyard moving forward with transparency, integrity, and optimism.

Leadership happens in our neighborhoods, not just online. You’ll find me out in the community: listening, learning, and working on real solutions.
